AERO Hosts Many Activities....

The staff at the Cave Creek Big Bronco April Sales event were extraordinarily gracious to our horses and volunteers as we introduced the community to Sundance and Solstice.  The Friday evening tip jar was split between AERO and Horse Sense to start off the good will. AERO would like to thank Big Bronco's Staff and Faith for their tremendous support and making this event so fun! Be sure to visit Big Bronco and let them know you're a friend of AERO!  They have wonderful clothes and furniture!

For more information call us at 623.465.1519 or Big Bronco at 480-575-7025.

True Western Decor with South of the Border and Tucson influence.  This one of a kind store offers thousands of different gifts, accessories, and furnishings. If you love the "Old West" you will love our store.  Owner Faith Weinberg's talent, experience, and knack of finding the unique will bring "Arizona's Heritage" to your doorstep.

Cave Creek Unified School District raises nearly $1,000 for AERO!

AERO is honored to be the recipients of the Black Stallion Literacy Project fundraising efforts of the 1st and 4th grade students in the Cave Creek Unified School District.  As part of the Black Stallion Literacy project the district is promoting education about horse care and careers.  Sundance, Impressions, and Lizzy represented our rescue and AERO volunteers presented to over 400 kids on what horse rescues do and promoted responsible animal stewardship.  Dr. Julie Lucas of Southwest Equine Surgical Facility partnered with us and educated the kids on horse anatomy and common ailments for horses living in Arizona.  Thank you Cave Creek School District and Southwest Equine!

Birthday Party Guests Contribute to AERO!

An 8-year old girl's desire to make a difference in the community gets everyone pitching in on her birthday.  Samantha Waslewski decided that she didn't want any gifts for her birthday party, and instead asked everyone to go to PetsMart and buy items that would then be donated to a horse rescue organization.  You can imagine the heartfelt appreciation when we watched the caravan of cars drive up with the gifts.  From shavings to pellets and halters to brushes, these kids thought of it all!

As appreciation for Samantha's generous contribution on her birthday, we all met at Horse's Help and Samantha's party guests were able to spend the morning meeting the horses and learning about each of them.  We send special thanks to Samantha, her friends, and the parents... your generosity has made a difference!

Equine Massage Students at AERO

AERO is proud to partner with the Arizona Institute of Equine Massage for use of our facility and horses for their students.  The students are able to work with the horses as they learn massage techniques during their 200-hour course.  And, the horses at AERO get therapeutic benefits and always feel great afterwards!
