Since its beginning in April 2001 the Arizona Equine Rescue
Organization has operated from volunteer hours and charitable
contributions from the community. The AERO Board of
Directors is seeking to expand the organization to serve more
horses and more children in need.
AERO has established strong relationships within the Valley's horse community and
operates with four interrelated arms of the program: critical care
rescue,
rehabilitation, community outreach and community education.
We work in collaboration with several youth related and equine
health care programs across Maricopa County and we are actively
building our collaborative network across the Valley.
Additionally, AERO is now working to establish a scholarship fund to help
youth pursue animal care careers. If you're interested
in how your organization can work with AERO, please
contact us.
If you or others you know would like to volunteer time or talents to AERO,
please
contact us as we grow our
youth and community programs.
